Pond Kinetics 2-Year Limited Warranty

The Kinetic V-15000 is manufactured to the highest standards of aquatic engineering. Pond Kinetics guarantees this product against electrical and manufacturing defects for a period of 24 months from the date of original purchase.

What is Covered

This warranty covers the free replacement or repair of the motor block, digital smart controller, or power supply if they fail during normal, intended operation due to faulty materials or workmanship.

What is NOT Covered (Warranty Exclusions)

This product operates in a harsh aquatic environment. To ensure the longevity of the pump, routine maintenance is required. This warranty is strictly limited to manufacturing faults and does not cover damage or failure caused by the following:

  • Running Dry: Operating the pump without water will cause catastrophic thermal damage to the bearings and motor block. This is instantly identifiable upon inspection and will void the warranty.
  • Cable Modification: Cutting, splicing, or altering the heavy-duty rubber cables, the SP13 aviation connectors, the torpedo joints, or removing the standard UK 3-pin plug.
  • Lack of Maintenance: Motor failure or impeller jamming caused by the buildup of limescale, calcium, blanket weed, or heavy debris. The pump must be cleaned periodically.
  • Freezing: Damage to the casing or internal components caused by the pump freezing solid during winter months.
  • Improper Voltage: Damage caused by wiring the 3-phase motor block directly to a power source without the use of the supplied Pond Kinetics digital smart controller.
  • General Wear and Tear: The natural degradation of the impeller rotor, ceramic shaft, or O-ring seals over time.

How to Make a Claim

In the unlikely event of a fault, the complete system (Pump, Controller, and Power Supply) must be returned to the original retailer along with a valid receipt or proof of purchase. Pond Kinetics reserves the right to inspect the unit to determine the cause of failure. If the failure is deemed a manufacturing defect, the unit or faulty component will be repaired or replaced free of charge.

Return Shipping and Costs

The customer is responsible for all shipping and packaging costs associated with returning the product to the retailer or manufacturer for inspection. If the claim is validated as a manufacturing defect, Pond Kinetics will cover the cost of shipping the repaired or replacement unit back to the customer.

Non-Transferable

This warranty is strictly non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser. A valid receipt or proof of purchase from an authorized Pond Kinetics retailer must be presented to initiate a claim.

Statutory Rights

This manufacturer's guarantee is offered as an extra benefit and does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law.

Pond Kinetics shall not be held liable for any consequential loss or damage to livestock, property, or hardware arising from the failure of this product.
